The purpose of this program is to educate nurses about the unique needs, issues and challenges of adolescents and young adults with cancer. After attending this webinar, participants will be able to —
  • Identify the distinguishing characteristics of the adolescent and young adult cancer patient.
  • Describe the current state and challenges of adolescent and young adult oncology care.
  • Review the impact of a cancer diagnosis to an adolescent and young adult and share resources to address those needs.
