The goal of this webinar is to help healthcare professionals who work night shift understand the unique challenges they face in managing their own health and wellness and how this may impact patient care. Upon completion, participants will be able to:
- Describe the negative effects of lack of sleep on the body, hormone levels, and potential health consequences.
- List the three components of exercise, discover the benefits of exercise to night shift workers, and learn ideas for getting exercise with a busy night shift schedule
- Describe strategies for eating healthier over the night shift
- State the length of time it takes to change habits
