The purpose of this program is to introduce participants to the diverse religious and healing systems in Haiti, and to describe the relevance of these systems for health conditions, treatments, and outcomes. After attending this webinar, participants will be able to —
- Identify the major religious and medical systems in Haiti.
- Describe faith and healing in the larger context of social, economic, and political influences in Haiti.
- Discuss some of the implications of providing care that integrates biomedicine and other healing systems in the Haitian context.
