The purpose of this program is to help healthcare providers understand PTSD and provide them with the necessary cultural strategies to intervene successfully in Haiti and reach sustainable outcomes. After attending this webinar, participants will be able to —
  • Identify events that may lead to PTSD.
  • Discuss the diagnosis and treatment of PTSD.
  • Explain the importance of cross-cultural intervention and identify the strategies needed to provide culturally competent care to Haitians.
