The purpose of this program is to provide healthcare professionals with information about healthcare seeking behaviors among men. More specifically, the program will address fears and hurdles men experiences in the process of assessment and treatment of cancer. A theoretical framework will guide the understanding of the issues presented. Upon completion of this webinar, participants will be able to:
- Identify the three most common cancers among men.
- Discuss two components of the Theory of Planned Behavior.
- Explain the link between fear and cancer and three fears men have in relation to cancer.
