District of Columbia Board of Nursing State CE Requirements

CE Requirements for RNs:

RN/APRN renewals began April 1, 2014. Licenses will expire June 30, 2014. All RN licenses expire June 30 of even numbered years.

RNs:24 contact hours
APRNs: 24 contact hours (including 15 contact hours in pharmacology)

CE Requirements for LPNs:

18 contact hours every 2 years.
