The goal of this webinar is to guide clinicians on how to advise families in the treatment and prevention of obesity. Upon completion, participants will be able to:
  • Identify pediatric obesity rates and consequences and discuss best practices related to family involvement, nutrition, physical activity, and treatment recommendations.
  • Describe the role of parenting in the treatment and prevention of pediatric obesity.
  • Describe strategies that parents can use to motivate children to adopt healthy habits, and learn to apply them in practice.
