The goal of this webinar is to provide an overview of the transition of APRN education to the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree, including rationale, current state of the transition, and the impact on APRNs. Upon completion, participants will be able to do the following:
  • Describe the relationship between factors in today’s healthcare environment and the transition of APRN education to the DNP
  • Describe the current state of the transition
  • Identify the expected changes in APRN education and practice
  • Discuss the potential impact of the transition on one’s own practice and career choices
