The goal of this presentation is to discuss how stroke treatment and early rehabilitation affects outcomes of patients following a stroke. Upon completion, participants will be able to:
  • Distinguish between the different types of stroke
  • Discuss ways to prevent stroke and recurrent stroke
  • Describe the role of the interdisciplinary team in rehabilitation following a stroke
