The goal of this webinar is to describe primary prevention and modifiable lifestyle behaviors that can reduce the risk of developing type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM), coronary artery disease (CAD), and stroke. Upon completion, participants will be able to:
  • Discuss patients at risk for the development of type 2 DM, CAD, and stroke
  • Identify dietary, exercise, stress management recommendations for reducing the risk of type 2 DM, CAD, and stroke
  • Identify evidenced-based practice guidelines for pharmacological interventions
