The goal of this presentation is to educate healthcare nurses and nursing students so they may further facilitate health behaviors in patients, families, and communities through education and modeling. Upon completion, participants will be able to:
  • Discuss how nurses and nursing students can improve health behaviors related to nutrition/weight management, exercise/physical fitness, and stress management
  • Identify strategies for health behavior changes in areas of nutrition/weight management, exercise/physical fitness, and stress management
  • Apply knowledge gained to improving nutrition/weight management, exercise/physical fitness, and stress management
