The goal of this presentation is to provide current and future nurse managers with an overview of Human Resource and financial management from an inpatient perspective. Upon completion, participants will be able to:
  • List common terms related to financial management
  • Describe four roles a manager has in strategic planning
  • Discuss how to review an Income Performance Analysis (IPA) from a monthly and yearly perspective
