The goal of this presentation is to discuss contralateral prophylactic mastectomies, including the controversy surrounding it and if it is about women taking control of their health or an unnecessary trend in healthcare. Upon completion of this webinar, attendees will be able to:
  • State the potential indications for prophylactic mastectomy (PM)
  • Discuss the benefits and risks of prophylactic mastectomy
  • Discuss patient satisfaction after prophylactic mastectomy
