The goal of this program is to provide information for RNs, APNs and physicians about the measles and about parental concerns regarding the safety of the MMR vaccine for their children. After studying the information presented here, you’ll be able to:

  • List three of the most common MMR vaccine adverse effects and contraindications for the MMR vaccine
  • Discuss three reasons the measles vaccination refusal rate is increasing across the U.S.
