Objectives:
The goal of this continuing education module is to update the ability of nurses, dietitians, paramedics and EMTs, fitness professionals, health educators, laboratory professionals, respiratory therapists and social workers to recognize and deal with sexual harassment and retaliation on the job. After studying the information presented here, you will be able to:
  • Discuss Title VII legislation as it relates to sexual harassment
  • Describe the standard for retaliation under the law
  • List steps supervisors and managers should take to deal with complaints of sexual harassment and retaliation
