The goal of this toddler juice continuing education program is to update healthcare professionals’ knowledge of basic nutrition for the well child, with guidelines for including juice drinks in the diet. After completing this course, the student will be able to:
  • Differentiate between acceptable and excessive juice consumption for toddlers
  • List possible negative consequences of excessive juice intake for toddlers
  • Relate reasonable solutions to parents who are concerned about juice intake
