The goal of this webinar is to inform nurses about how healthcare reform and the recommendations from The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the Institute of Medicine Future of Nursing report influence both patients and nurses who are aging. After attending this webinar, attendees will be able to —
  • Identify the largest area of population growth.
  • Explain what healthcare changes will affect the older adult.
  • Explain the IOM/RWJF’s Future of Nursing report as it relates to the older nurse.
  • Describe the nurse’s role in caring for the older adult population amid these changes.
