It will also provide nurses with information about why these recommendations are important to the nursing profession, healthcare, and individual practice. After attending the webinar, you will be able to —
  • Describe the purpose of the Institute of Medicine’s (IOM) The Future of Nursing: Leading Change, Advancing Health report.
  • Explain why past efforts to reform the nursing workforce and education policies failed.
  • Discuss how you can make a difference to support nurses’ educational advancement and lifelong learning.
