The goal of this webinar is to provide the learner with information regarding the unique aspects of pain that make assessment and treatment difficult and how understanding and deliberately using the principles of ethics when making pain management decisions for patients may provide more optimal outcomes. Upon completion, participants will be able to:
  • Discuss why managing patients’ pain must be considered in an ethical context.
  • Describe the four basic principles of Ethics.
  • Discuss Principlism and its application to optimal pain management.
