CE OVERVIEW REVIEWS
Objectives:

The goals of the American Nurse documentary CE program is to enhance nurses' knowledge about potential roles and career opportunities beyond traditional acute care settings and modify attitudes regarding practicing in those settings and caring for military personnel, the elderly and the dying, regardless of setting. After studying the information presented in the film, nurses will be able to:

  • Identify three potential roles and career opportunities outside the traditional acute care setting in nursing,
  • Discuss how their own attitude about caring for veterans, the elderly, the dying and bereaved, and the incarcerated changed after viewing the film
