The goal of this program is to provide an understanding of the myriad of emotional stages a woman experiences when dealing with a breast cancer diagnosis. Upon completion of this session, attendees will know the following —
  • Define four potential types of psychological issues experienced by clients with cancer
  • List two possible factors that may contribute to the development of psychological issues
  • Describe two interventions that might be used with the client experiencing psychological issues
  • Discuss two interventions that might be used with family members of the client experiencing psychological
