The goal of this enteral nutrition continuing education program is to provide dietitians, paramedics, EMTs, and pharmacists with information about enteral nutrition support. After completion of this educational activity, participants will be better able to:
  • Discuss the rationale for identification of patients who might require enteral nutrition support
  • Given a patient scenario, determine the most appropriate route for enteral feeding access
  • Develop a plan for initiating, advancing and monitoring enteral feedings
