Objectives:
The goal of this picky eaters continuing education program is to update healthcare professionals knowledge of basic nutrition and fitness for the well child. After studying the information presented in this learning module, you will be able to —
  • List developmental causes of picky eating.
  • Discuss the role of fat, calcium, vitamin D, iron and vitamin-mineral supplements in the diets of toddlers.
  • List four parents’ realistic solutions to toddlers’ picky eating.
