The purpose of this program is to inform nurses and physical therapists about vertigo, its causes and its treatment with medications and therapeutic exercises. After studying the information presented here, you will be able to:
  • Name five common causes of vertigo
  • Name the most common medications to treat vertigo
  • Describe three maneuvers to diagnose and treat vertigo
