The purpose of this program is to inform nurses, paramedics and EMTs, pharmacists, and physicians about the incidence, symptoms, diagnosis and treatment of dengue fever, as well as its global effect and potential threat to the United States. After studying the information presented here, you will be able to:

  • Describe the causative agent for dengue fever and its epidemiology
  • Identify symptoms and treatment of uncomplicated and complicated dengue infection
