The goal of this program is to provide paramedics with information about the identification and treatment of Pulseless Electrical Activity (PEA). After studying the information presented here, you will be able to —
  • Explain the basic underlying pathophysiology of PEA.
  • Identify the 11 diagnoses associated with PEA. 
  • Describe the treatments for PEA.
