Objectives:
The goal of this continuing education program is to enhance the abilities of nurses, health educators, dietitians, physical therapists, radiologic technologists, social workers and speech language pathologists to work with interprofessional teams. After studying the information presented here, you will be able to:

  • Describe nine characteristics or roles that team members can exhibit that enhance the functioning of the team.
  • Describe the four dimensions of team self-management associated with team success
