Objectives:
The goal of this continuing education program is to update clinicians’ knowledge about the prevention, assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up measures for tuberculosis and multidrug-resistant tuberculosis. After studying the information presented here, you will be able to:
  • Identify risk factors for tuberculosis (TB) and multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (MDRTB).
  • Identify methods to prevent, assess, and diagnose TB and MDRTB.
  • Identify appropriate treatment and follow-up measures for TB and MDRTB.
