Objectives:
The purpose of this module is to inform nurses, EMTs/paramedics, physicians, and radiologic technologists about the incidence, pathophysiology, identification and treatment of pancreatic cancer. After studying the information presented here, you will be able to:
  • Name three signs and symptoms of pancreatic cancer
  • Compare and contrast two treatment options for pancreatic cancer
  • Discuss two palliative care interventions for pancreatic cancer
