The purpose of this program is to inform nurses, EMTs and paramedics, and health educators about illnesses caused by Cryptosporidium and Giardia pathogens, as well as the preventive measures that can lessen the risk of their transmission. After studying the information presented here, you will be able to:

- Explain why it is more difficult to eradicate Cryptosporidium than Giardia from swimming pools
