  • Describe the nurse’s role in recognizing symptoms related to a chemical attack.
  • Identify the signs and symptoms and management of victims exposed to nerve agents, cyanides, respiratory irritants, and vesicants.
  • Discuss the healthcare issues related to and preparedness for a chemical attack.
