Objectives:
The purpose of this program is to help nurses sift through common exercise and diet myths and excuses, understand the fundamentals of why people look for an easy way out and avoid proper nutrition and exercise, and provide the tools necessary to identify patients at risk for diseases due to poor lifestyle choices and sedentary behavior. After attending this webinar, participants will be able to —
  • Identify the body’s motor.
  • Explain how to measure obesity and best way to decrease it.
  • List steps to start and maintain an exercise program.
