The goal of this program is to update clinicians’ ability to care for patients with burns in the immediate hours post-injury. After studying the presented information, you will be able to —
- Identify signs, symptoms and treatments for an inhalation injury.
- Describe appropriate fluid resuscitation for a burn patient.
- List two differences between pediatric and adult burn patients.
